Social and humanitarian assistance are core elements of our involvement as a good corporate citizen.
As a good corporate citizen, our aim is to sustainably improve living conditions for people all over the world.
We provide immediate technical and humanitarian aid in the wake of natural disasters. Natural disasters are on the rise. Hurricanes, earthquakes, and floods often affect regions where Siemens has a local presence. We therefore consider it our duty to provide fast assistance to the victims, without red tape.
We offer supports such as:
- Regional or worldwide appeals for donations from our employees
- Corporate donations
In recent years, Siemens has raised donation campaigns locally and worldwide such as disaster relief for Taiwan’s Typhoon Morakot, Kaohsiung’s gas explosion incident, earthquake in Japan and Haiti, as well as delivered water filters to Haiti, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, and Myanmar.
