Over the last few years, the Asian market has seen rapid growth to become the growth engine of the global economy.  Siemens has a long history in Asia and has achieved excellent business results with customers and partners in Asian markets.  In Taiwan, Siemens has been deeply rooted for more than 50 years, over the course of which we have grown with our customers and partners together and made significant contributions to Taiwan’s economy. This is in line with our corporate spirit of “Global Innovation & Local Partnership.”

Realizing the importance of cherishing Taiwan and showing our full commitment to this wonderful island, Siemens Limited Taiwan has been always serving as an innovation partner.  We empower 70% of the major semiconductor & TFT LCD manufacturers in Taiwan with automation solutions that support manufacturing processes.  We equip Taipei 101 with building automation and security solutions and are one of the leading suppliers of Taiwan’s metro industry.  We provide fully integrated iron and steel plant solutions to Taiwan's metals industry.  More than one quarter of Taiwan's power capacity is generated by Siemens equipment and our energy management system has been maneuvering the island-wide power dispatch networks.  We also lead in quality healthcare through trend-setting innovations.

Taiwan has long demonstrated its economic strength and now is working to bring its economic development to another peak.  As a long-lasting partner of Taiwan, Siemens will continue contributing over 160 years worth of know-how and experience accumulated in more than 190 countries.  We will continue partnerships with local customers and partners, pursuing innovation and total upgrade to accelerate an economic boom in three Sectors recently defined by our company for future growth – Industry, Energy, and Healthcare.  With megatrends like aging population, urbanization, and climate change creating a need for state-of-the-art technologies, products and solutions, these three Sectors will play an ever increasingly important role not just for Taiwan, but for the entire world.  Our company has also implemented a new structure in which Siemens Taiwan can work closer with our Northeast Asia Cluster partners including Siemens in China, Hong Kong, Mongolia and South Korea to provide more comprehensive services to our customers and partners.

I am honored for this opportunity to join the Siemens Limited Taiwan team.  Working with Siemens for nearly 30 years, I have always been firmly convinced that the highest performance and ethical standards can drive our profitable and sustainable growth for customers, partners, and ourselves.  In the future, my team and I will adhere to this in my leadership of the Siemens Limited Taiwan team, as we provide innovative technologies and outstanding services to support further construction and development in Taiwan, all the while making contributions to Taiwan society.
